Alba's Room
During that awkward week between Christmas and New Years, we decided to give Alba’s room a refresh. She is growing so quickly, and we wanted to give her a special '“big girl” room.
We decided to make a small accent wall for her magnetic chalkboard. Between the bead board, trim piece and sample size paint (Sherwin-Williams Sandbar), this project cost $35. I added a small basket to keep her magnets and chalk in. It was a great way to add a place to play in her room while still keeping it minimal.
Over the summer, I bought these beautiful wall decals to go over her bed. They were so easy to use and make a big impact. The cornstalk letters were are on clearance from Hobby Lobby last year. Unfortunately, they are no longer in stock. I know… bummer.
Sometimes by just moving things around or using items from other rooms in your home, you can give them a fresh look. This was a quick refresh with small changes, but it has made her space more enjoyable. (Additional links at the end)
